The first place made us go, “Wow, look at that!” It’s a weird and quirky scene that most might not have the chance to see. The second place is an interesting perspective for such a common assignment: someone speaking at a podium to a crowd. The photographer solved a problem and made an interesting image. Third place is nicely framed and gives the viewer information and context. There seemed to be multiple images in this category entered as singles, though it was clear they were part of a set from the same assignment.
