First place, we love the dynamic of this photo. There is a lot going on and it is well composed. We wish there would have been more attention to detail to crop out the sun spot at the bottom of the frame because it distracts the viewer. Second place is different. It tells a lot about the personality of the subject, but it could use some contrast. Third place is really well done all around with the lighting, the expression and mood. There were a lot of good ideas in this category but they just didn't quite get there. Many entries were not technically correct.
