Our first place pick had great lighting from both sides, was a unique moment, and draws the viewer in for more information. It makes you pause and look at it a little longer. Our second place pick was the first of an entry that included 10 photos as a package but we felt it stood up strongly to the rest. The group had lots of variety and was extremely storytelling, showing that the photographer made an effort to make various photos from different scenes. Also all images had good composure and was thoughtfully edited. Third place honestly felt more feature-like, but it was a nice moment with good expressions and the photographer was able to capture the spontaneity. I t also shows consciousness by photographer during a quick moment.
