We saw several general news images here. Not sure any would have been winners there either, but lacked the feature feel. Lots of pix of cute kids being cute, but few of them felt like moments or had much emotion. First was by far the best of these, with a great composition and good timing. Second was the best of the handful of lovely pictorials in the category. This one had movement and pattern and great color. Third was probably a best of the rest of the slice-of-life variety. The window reflection was a tad distracting but we liked the light and quiet everyday feeling.
