1st place is a series of photos including some images with good emotion in faces and powerful storytelling. Backgrounds maintain a solemn mood. A tighter edit would be okay. 2nd place shows strong emotion but could have been cropped tighter. 3rd place provides the viewer with a unique inside look at the reality of war.
