Some solid discussion from judges on sports images, and a good variety in this category. First place was the best peak action, and is well-executed. The toning isn't spot on though, which nearly took it out of first for us. We suggest retoning in the future. Second place is a great example of being in the right place at the right time. Love that the photographer elevated the angle to show more of the scene. The glasses mid-air and the chaos make this scene, and it's not a sports image you see often, but tells a greater story from this game than likely the game images themselves. Third place is just an instant classic. It's clean, a clear moment between fan and player, and well shot.
