AD-WTVF 7 7 6 7 Nice job with this one. You did a great job editing the many reveals throughout. You had some really great parallel parking moments that helped drive home the emotion. I commend your creativity with the video, however, I didn't care for it here. I would have liked you to actually play the video on the laptop while they were sitting there instead of editing it in in post, might as well you know?  Super awesome shot of the Jordans btw, they were the first thing I noticed with your first wide of the kid. I rocked those in middle school. Keep up the good work, you definitely have the eye and ability to grow in this crazy storytelling world. CC-WTVF 9 9 8 8 Great opening. Nice composition of shots throughout the entire story. I felt the audio was a bit hot in the begining and the audio transitions could've been just a bit smoother. You want it to be like butter melting in a dish, seemless. Great use of the iPad! Wonder reveals. Lighting temperature on the living room interview seemed a bit yellow. Great reveals throughout. Superb story. CS-WTVF 8 8 7 7 Loved the shots in here, so beautiful. The reveals were very well done. I liked the creativity with the ipad BUT I was distracted by the two behind it, their lips were moving. If that hadn't happened I think that would have worked perfectly. Great nats to set the scene.

AD-WTVF 7 7 6 7 Nice opening shot, move up the reporter track in the beginning, the nats off top were too long. Crisp nats throughout. It sucked that we didn't see one tight shot of his hands until the end of the story, it would have been more powerful closer to the top. Your use of your gopro here didn't workout that well. Most shots didn't add anything unique that your camera couldn't get. Great job. CC-WTVF 7 8 7 8 Nice job with the photos and the composition of framing up your interview shots. The shots off the shoulder were a bit shaky. I appreciated the reveal of the baseball glove. Make sure you take your name out of the tag when entering. CS-WTVF 8 8 6 7 I really liked your opening and closing shots. They're so important, and you clearly recognize that! I would have moved the reporter track up just a tad in the beginning because for a second I wondered if it wasn't mixed down properly. Great little moments of the boy while he's playing and interacting with others. I couldn't quite tell if some of that was home video and some was your own go pro? Great story!

AD-WTVF 5 6 5 6 Powerful story. I noticed your second shot was out of focus for a frame or two watch out for that. I liked your color effect of your character walking on campus. Some shots in the classroom were shaky which were distracting. Good job. CC-WTVF 6 5 5 6 I liked the color effect in the begining, it worked well to get me into the story. Maybe would've been more powerful if you started everyone in black and white and then had her color come in after a few frames. Especially when the reporter said "blend in" JL-WTVF 6 6 7 6 I liked the color effects in the beginning -- It illustrated what she was going through. Creative interview framing with the laptop reflection with the image of her friend. Very creative execution... good story!
