This was a great category; the photographers really went beyond the obvious and saw moments outside of the action. We had a hard time picking the top three.
We loved the feel of first place; our only question is whether there is a flag on each end of the field. The look on the player's face in the 2nd place is great, just wish the photographer had cropped in from the left a little to get rid of the white hat in the background. 3rd place is a fun image and well composed.
