First Place: In a large arena, the viewer can feel the emotion of the single player in “Berke.” Keeping the frame wide to see the surroundings helps tell the whole story. Second Place: The interesting background in “Stripes” definitely made this photo stand out and caught our attention. Third Place: “Underwood” is a nice feature from a sporting event. You can feel the emotion from the coach, and the cheering crowd in the background helps amplify that feeling. Alternate: The emotion on the woman in the front brings the viewer into the moment in “Cheer.” It's a nice sports-fan photo.
