1. Spring training package had the most visual variety of successfully made photos. The judges commend the photographer on their hard work during what was most likely a long day(s?) making beautiful work but would encourage them to write more detailed captions that follow AP style so we would have more information about the beautiful scenes. 2. The snakes had the best variety of lens choice for submissions. Had the tightest editing in a category, where many entries had too many photos crowding their stories. 3. The crawfish entry had a strong atmosphere that caught our eyes. The judges thought the photographer could have experimented with more lens variety and different photog to subject distance for their photos. The story suffered from too many photos and would have benefitted from a tight edit.
