This category had an embarrassment of riches making it difficult to judge.
The multi-photo wrestling match entry would have been better served if entered as several singles. Contest rules do not allow removal of singles, which saddened the judges because the work would not be recognized.
1) The coach's reaction is pure joy and the fairly clean background directs attention to her face.
2) The fun moment documents an unusual high school tradition. Photographer did a good job of putting themselves in the correct spot to see faces.
3) An excellent job of knowing where to be to take advantage of cool lighting and wait for the elements to come together.
