This was a solid category with a number of good entries. First place: We felt this was a striking image that was at once complicated and easy to read. We wished the caption were as descriptive as the image. Second place: We liked the pose and the chair and how the subject pops from the background. Third place: The composition, the pose and his facial expression all work really well. We felt the upper right corner was a little hot. Honorable mention: We credit the photographer for putting thought into the composition of this image and for the wonderful use of window light.
