First Place: “Christmas Decorations” is a cool photo with a “Where's Waldo” vibe. We wish the photographer would have gotten the name of the worker. Second Place: “Thanksgiving Parade” is an interesting way to shoot a parade. With the onlookers and the leading lines of the parking garage to the float, the viewer immediately knows what is happening. Third Place: We like the expression on the kid in “Dino Quest.” This is more of an event for General News, but it's a good moment that deserves some recognition. Alternate: “Wurstbraten” is nicely lit with the sunshine coming through the back. Again, this was more of a General News photo, but it was well executed.
