First Place: “Turkey in the Hole” has good lighting and a variety of detail shots and scene-setting photos. The photos seemed a little over-edited and saturated, but there were several nice moments captured. It could have used a tighter edit to eliminate some repetitive photos. Second Place: We like how the photographer captured all the activity over the time they were there in “Mission Thanksgiving.” It's a nice edit of images to document the event. Third Place: “SunZia” could have benefitted from a tighter edit, but the photographer did a good job to tell the story by going to different locations and making photos at all hours of the day. Alternate: “Mobile Pantry” had some good images, but maybe just one should have been entered in the General News category.
