First Place: “Water Main Break” is a humorous photo for Spot News. We like how the photographer made an interesting photo out of the situation. Second Place: We like the contrasting colors in “Teen Homicide.” The framing is nice and makes the viewer look around the photo. Third Place: “Fire” is a neat image with the contrasting fire and rainbow. Alternate: There are some really good moments in “Tornado Damage,” but we thought it would have placed higher in the Photo Story category or just as a single entry in this category.
