There were only 2 entries in this category. The first place entry was really playful and visually diverse. The other entry was not awarded because it contained file images from other photographers. the story would have placed w/o the direct scans of photos in the entry. We appreciated the transparency but felt that we could not place an entry that contains the work of other photographers. The portraits are constant in mood and lighting They work well in the series. Consider incorporating hands or storytelling backgrounds when working with archival materials in the future.
