Images visually creates a nice moment of order out of disorder. Everyone is a different height and looking in different directions, but that’s what makes the moment work. 2nd place - Great peak action. A nice feeling of suspense about what’s going to happen. There’s an anticipation about what’s next in the moment. 3rd place - Very close to almost being a perfect picture. Wanted to see more of the expression of people in the back, however, still a creative crop. 4th alternative - In hockey faces can sometimes be hard to see, but the photographer not only caught emotion, but ice flying through the air, great game action and the puck. Everything came together at the right moment.
