The homebirth winning entry was a solid portrait of a family with nice light and some storytelling details like the cross on her necklace. There was a nice circular movement the eye does while looking at their three faces. Backhome had nice framing, good use of depth of field and a bit of energy from her stride caught at a good moment. Violinist could have been higher ranking had the full reflection been taken by having the photog move just a half a step to the left. Pumpkin harvest's caption talked about his family and we wanted to see a bit more of them in this lovely scene outdoors. Overall, we need more entries!
