1st. This image really popped. The "good" witch's expression and how the people around her are reacting to her is right on. Color and composition work well and even like the slower shutter speed to freeze the witch as she ascends the stairs while everyone else is a bit blurred really works.
2nd. We like the graphic nature of this and the composition. The moment works well, too. The only thing we faulted was would have like more depth of field. The guy in the background is a little soft and would have rather had him sharp. If no other depth of field was possible, would have preferred he be in focus as opposed to the car. Yeah, nitpicky.
3rd. Third place was definitely the biggest story. The image had lots of hustle and bustle, but had so many moving parts, it was hard to handle them all cleanly. Had to rely on the caption to understand what it was all about.
