Opening judging comment was "Feature singles are moments where the single image kind of tells the whole story. We look at the composition and then what kind of story is it telling? What's going on around it that helps us understand the moment and any contributing information." Judges agreed the Baby Yoga was a clear winner because it's a delightful moment, well composed. "What I like is the baby is sort of inverse to what the mothers are doing." Judges agreed the rest of the images were more bread and butter moments. There was an abundance of silhouette entries that we struggled to find one that was strong enough to place. We settled on the the Bike photo that had the best compositional balance. We decided not to award any other places due to overall routine moments or compositions in this category. The rest of the images met the criteria for delivering an assignment but were not contest winners.
