Judges Comments

The category had several good images, but judges ultimately settled on quiet moments, body language being the theme First place was an easy pick with great light controlled by the photographer throughout the frame with nice composition. Second was one of the better flooding images, even without a face. A quiet moment to be sure, but emotional. Some talk about the third place award, it was a toss up with other entries. However, a moment from a hardball light environment, a desolate and stark background brought the face to the forefront.
