Sports feature the strongest category of all the categories. There were so many nice images that made this category difficult to judge. What we felt set first place apart from the others is the depth of the photo and the catcher walking away. Second place tells a story in just a moment and has so many wonderful expressions to look at. Third place has the same level of excitement and faces but not quite as clean of a background.
