The winning selection in the Photo Story category is Life is a Circus. We felt it was a strong set of images
that told a visually compelling story. However, we also sensed there may have been other, stronger
selections within the photographer’s captures, and with a tighter edit, the series could have been even
more impactful.
Our second selection, Iguanas, presented a fascinating and engaging story. The images captured our
interest and left us wanting more. However, we often felt there were missed opportunities within the
series. Moments that, if more fully developed, could have elevated the narrative further.
