2-Light, moment, composition are all very strong in this image. The slightly tilted frame is a nice touch here. It, paired with the lighting and color, gives energy and momentum to the frame and contributes to the storytelling of the image, that this is a build-up to a big event.
3-This is a classic coach-athlete moment, executed quite nicely. One recommendation for next time would be to seek a slightly lower angle if possible, to clean up the part of the image where the feet are and elevate the subject a little more from the background.
