This month's submissions were limited. We selected "The Collapse" story for first place because the photographer invested time in documenting a seemingly mundane event—a truck falling into a hole. They demonstrated creativity in finding compelling angles. The second-place image of the firefighter was chosen for the firefighter using a crowbar to remove a fence from a vehicle getting a nice tight image as they work.
