1. This was the strongest entry in the category by far. It possessed a real narrative arc and good access, but needed a tighter edit. This would have benefitted from a photo of her attempting a kick in game, and a celebration after making a kick.
Unfortunately we did not feel other entries deserved a placement. Editing was too loose and stories suffered, even if there were 1-2 nice images. The snow story and the missing person had a couple photos that would have stood up on their own, but were weighed down by too many weaker photos.
