Judges Comments

Each of the top three Sports Feature frames intrigued the judges with narrative content and visual execution. First place - A consensus pick, we love the naturalness of the moment and overall framing. Great job getting access, staying discreet and identifying the athletes pictured. Second place - A top-tier reaction image, with each face adding value to the photo. The entry felt just a bit off framing-wise - we would have preferred a bit less at the top and bit more at the bottom, but still, a great moment. Third place - Well seen and rendered. A great example of working the periphery and arriving early in an effort to find additional ways to capture an event.
