1st: Publisher Erik: It’s not ground breaking and the lighting could have been more dynamic. But it’s a very nice, clean image and honorific of someone important to the community.
2nd: Sports series: There a few in here that are nice but it lacks consistency. Some of them have awkward expressions, poor use of aperture, so things are coming out of people’s heads, etc. The posing is off. The snow is difficult with the sport itself. If the care in the first one for composition and posing and lighting was put int the rest it would have been first.
3rd: Sheep: It would have been better with a telephoto to compress the elements. The idea is great and the pose, layering is solid. The photos could have done with more toning. The idea of it was good but the execution would have been better with a bit more of the subject occupying the frame.
