We love the composition of the first place image with only the leaping player’s legs in the frame and the frozen action of the subjects hair that tells the viewer it’s a spin move without reading the image title. Second place is a very well done motion blur shot and while it can seem these are overdone at times this one hit us a bit different with all the layers/crowd looking like ocean waves with the motion of the ball carrier seemingly running underneath those ocean waves. Frankly it’s the perfect example of sport photojournalism as art and we’d hang a print of that on our wall. Third place has great peak action of a sack with a great expression captured on the QB.
