Judges Comments

First Place: We thought “Falcon Flip” deserved first because it is something different. It's a sharp photo that captures peak action. Not easy to do, especially with the subject being upside down. Second Place: “Smack” is a fun photo that captures a good expression. There's a lot of dead space, but we like how the photographer was able to get the ball in the frame. Third Place: We were intrigued with “Swatted Ball” because it shows a different way to show a moment of action. The position of the ball is perfectly placed to make it a unique photo. Alternate: The action moment of “Header” is sharp and well framed.
