up and the layered composition. Simple clean composition that is eye-catching. You don’t need to read a caption to understand it, but the caption does shed light on an interesting tradition of decorating a tree on the land before taking it down to put in one’s home. 2nd place is clean and simple with a nice angle and a graphically appealing ‘X’ composition. The yellow bus adds a nice little pop of bright color in a mostly monotone scene. 3rd place has a beautiful palette of orange colors and a nice reflection of the robin.
