Judges Comments

In a category featuring several good reaction photos, this steeplechase image stands out for its composition and framing for first place. Lacrosse big goal photo gets second for it being a quick read with all the elements in place. Third place is difficult choice between two softball reaction photos, one featuring the coach lifting a player in celebration, and the other being the team piling on. Although I wish the coach player image was shot from a lower angle making the background less busy, it still gets third for the strong moment.
