First Place: “Restaurant” rose to the top of all the entries. It's a sharp photo with nice colors. The viewer can understand what's going on with both the restaurant sign and the fire fighters in the frame. Second Place: To be in the right spot at the right time is impressive, like the photographer did with “Jaws.” It's shot at an interesting angle and tells the whole story from left to right. Third Place: “Whale” is a little over exposed, but it's shot at a nice angle and tells the story without being too graphic. Alternate: We wish we could have seen more faces in “Alarms,” but we like that the viewer can tell what's taking place from what can be seen in the background and foreground.
