We liked the atmosphere of the forestry workers for first place, but were a little unnerved by the tree growing out of the head on the left. The second place actress photo had great light and a nice moment but there was discussion on burning and dodging and if there was enough information in the photo. Which brings us to third place. We loved the photo of the man in his room with all the leather and the big bear and his posture and the angled light, but were thrown off when we read the cutline and it didn't jive with the info in the photo. HM went to the boat captain because we didn't recognize a boat in the photo. We live in the midwest. We like to have more visual information about the subjects and this category left a little to be desired.
