There really wasn't much to choose from in this category so we only awarded one place. We'd love to see stronger participation from other shooters in this region. First place stood out with the creative flair of using a slow shutter speed to document the conductor, that worked out really well, but it really is more of a general news image than a portrait. Second and third place were not awarded.
