Judges Comments

Good number of excellent candidates in the competitive Sports Action group. The judges really had trouble finalizing the final couple of award spots. First place was a quick consensus pick. The tight frame and peak moment quality elevated it about the other entries. Second place was recognized as well for the peak action element. We were left wondering how this worked out for the center subject in the frame. Our eventual third choice was selected over a good number of other contenders as a result of the frame's 'desperate intensity' quality.
