First place is just a perfectly framed, perfectly captured dejection moment with the repetition of both mascot and player comforting other players just well done all around-we totally wish we had shot it. Second place showcases beautiful light as well as the excitement of the game start. We like the low angle that captured the player’s expression standing out among the shadows and flying water droplets of the third place image and hope the photog didn’t get too drenched while snapping that photo.
