Another great category that had judges going back and forth between entries. First place is a subtle moment in the middle of chaotic celebrations. Judges appreciated that the second place photo shows the dejected players face, with the winner well framed in the background. Depending on the story, focusing on the non-winner can be a better photo. Third place was well executed, sharp where it needs to be, and benefits from the symetry of the cheerleaders. Slow shutter pans can be risky - and overdone - but this time it worked out well.
