Judges Comments

First place isn't a flashy photo, but it caught genuine emotion at a press conference and we found it stood out in it's simplicity. Second place caught a nice moment. It feels a little off balance, but has an interesting behind-the-scenes feel to it. Nice color, nice light. Third place we really liked -- great lines, good light, fun angle, but we felt like it probably belonged in feature. Nothing in the caption indicated it was a planned event. At least one photo was eliminated because single subject wasn't identified by name.
