The winners demonstrated how there's more to a sports event beyond the action. 1st place captured a strong mood with the use of light and lensing that didn't need a person punching another person although would have liked to see the photographer develop it more. 2nd place had a great angle and color while getting low and getting in the moment. 3rd place shows how impactful fans can be and how they can add to the story.
