Judges Comments

This was a pretty strong category with a fair amount of entries. Great emotion and layering led to the first-place entry rising to the top of all of the jube pictures. Second place was different and lots going on there with the cheering student fans. Liked the wide-angle which made this frame way better than if it was shot from across the gym with longer glass. Third-place had good dejection of sad players after a loss, but could have been better composed. Bleacher post is distracting behind the player on the right's head. It also would have benefitted from a lower angle if the photographer had time to lay on the ground.
