Summer sledding: The child with the huge smile framed between his legs in the air grabs our attention immediately, great on its own. But then his expression and gesture is echoed by the kids waiting their turn at the top of the slope. Add to that the other kids, patiently waiting their turn on the left, framed against the sky. Just a wonderful moment, and an entire story in one image.
Lowrider: This photo brings a smile to our face. The girl’s complete happiness, flipping her hair while driving her tiny Minnie Mouse car is just a great scene. This is contrasted by the full-sized lowrider in the background, adding context and completing the scene.
Rooster Teeth expo: Another fun photo. The big pop of color and the oversized costumed person squeezing through a doorway is great. We liked the repetition of the door shapes too, and the mostly monochromatic scene with the fortunate addition of blue and yellow shirts in the background completing the primary colors rounds out the overall composition.
Barbie movie: Fun shot that shows the festive nature of the event. The colors are great, and it just reads so well.
