Judges Comments

The football training camp photo story checked all the boxes to get first place. Good compositions, story telling and editing. We especially liked the shot of the rookie doing his rookie duties, and also the beefy football player holding a baby shot is appreciated. The entry telling the story of the groundskeeper is a solid second. The rodeo story has some very strong images, but the story could have placed higher with a tighter edit. The alternate was made up of a lot of nice images, but had some redundant images, and the judges felt like it needed something more to be more compelling.
