First Place. The back / side light helps separate the subject from background. It’s the decisive moment with the fingers just about to touch the base and a nice expression on the baseman. A common image from a baseball game but very well executed. Second place is an amazing collision that you rarely see, definitely something different. The angles of the bodies and the hat in the air adds to the drama. Third place is a nice different angle without the net at a volleyball game.
