There were a few multiple picture images not using a title slide and some entering the photo story category that have no narrative and should be entering in one of the other categories with a better fit. The photo story following a lacrosse goalie without legs was easily the front runner. The photographer spent the time needed for a well thought out narrative of how this woman can do it and with the support of her team and relatives. In second place, the photographer captured a variety of images detailing the practice of a cheer team and finished it off with a closing celebration photograph. With the photo story More Than a Meal, the subject’s emotional reactions helped move it into third place.
