Judges Comments

A handful of photos rose above the rest. We like the beautiful light and unique angle from the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race for first place. This was followed by a fun reindeer ‘run’. Love the chase-like photo for second. And for third, an early morning stretching and yawning cat was a nice capture. This one really connects with the reader as there were several animal/pet photos in the category. Quick note, a couple of non-placing feature photos in the multiple feature category would have contended here.
