1st — We loved the overhead perspective on this lineups photo, and the many shadows cast across the court. There's so much to look at that makes you want to keep looking. Awesome frame!
2nd — This photo had a thoughtful composition; adding the layer of the other players in the circle was a nice touch, and the light and hints of pink/red throughout the frame added as well.
3rd — This is an image that immediately jumps off the page — a "wow" photo. The reaction is just SO intense, and the unintentional relationship between the two players is both humorous and eye-opening.
Alt — Similar to the third place photo, this is a solid jubilation picture with that little bit extra. The symmetry of the two players helps this reaction shot rise above the rest.
Overall — as with most sports feature contest categories, this one had a ton of reaction/jubilation/confetti photos. If you are going to submit one like that, it needs to have something unique about it to win.
