First place: The peak action of this frame shows the force of the impact that created sweat droplets and flying hair. This photo stood out to us immediately and continued to be our favorite. One judge suggested cropping out the distracting scoreboard at the top of the image. It comes close to his head and cuts out some of his hair, but not too much.
Second place: This is a great example of a creative sports action frame. Way to see the light and shadows and find the right vantage point. One judge said "I would love to have that angle!"
Third place: Fantastic floor scramble BUT we need a tighter crop! A lot of good floor scrambles were entered but this one stood above the rest with the great facial expressions and body language. Please crop out all the excess space.
