Judges Comments

First: Wow! the action, the lighting and urgency of the image are all great. It's really a near perfect breaking news photo. Second: We felt this was an interesting way of taking this crime scene photo. Being able to see the faces of the detective and cop are great. Third: What a beautiful image. It's definitely of a breaking news moment but we felt it would have fared well in the portrait category too.
