Judges Comments

Sports was strong. We don't usually go with all long glass-type images, but the best were just that. First place's denial of the other player's shot attempt is sweet. You can really feel it. Second place is awesome, too. The tight crop. The helplessness of the girl with her arm twisted behind her. The cool hair of the dominant wrestler. Oh, and the blood smear on her shoulder. Nice. Third place was also a solid wrestling moment, but it was the moment of before the pain. You know it's coming. We loved the top wrestler's body positioning. The only thing we could find fault with is we wish the guy's whole foot was in the frame.
